Is there any news about the BFG painting competition?  How many entries so far?  When will judging start?  Those kind of things...Just curious...

Sorry. Believe it or not, I finally got around to setting up the gallery last night and I will be putting it online today. There are only a few entries so far, but now that we actually have some I will be able to promote it a bit more and hopefully get more interest going. Judging wont start until after the deadline for submissions, and heats will be of nine entries each. By the way, I counted your entries as two seperate ones. Hope that is what you had in mind.

Either way...Actually, as they are light cruisers they could be listed as a single entry...but if multiple entries are permitted then sure...Maybe I'll send you a B5 mini pic to add a little spice...Or one of my personal alien race ships (a project of mine based on my own twisted imagination)...

Sorry. The regulations are linked from the from the front page of this site, and the gallery is linked from there.  :D

GothiComp05 Gallery

deathlynx - Since you sent pictures of the vessels individually and one together, they could have been entered either way. I went for the single vessel entries as it gives you two entries in the heat.

Any vessels are good to be entered. One thing that I am constantly going on about is the independence of this site, and that this means that you dont have to use only GW minis. I like the use of parts from a variety of manufacturers, etc. So, send them on, it would be good to see them. (Even if you dont enter them in the competition, I would like to see them here!)

I have just updated the GothiComp 2005 gallery. This page is linked from the regulations page, which can be found here:

http://www.epic40k.co.uk/lib/comp/gothicomp05.html

Unfortuntely, I managed to suffer a PC meltdown a short whiole ago (right in the middle of Warp Rift #7!). I think that most of the entries made it through, but there may be have been one that was lost in the warp. If you submitted your entry but it has not appeared in the gallery, can I offer my apologies and ask that you submit it again?

In addition, the prizes have been announced, and will consist of a Battleship (up to the value of ?15) for the winner of both the painting competition, and the conversion section.

I hope that this encourages more people to submit their entries soon. I look forward to seeing more great examples of the hobby.

Thanks.
