This 2004 Epic Painting Competition is underway? This post is where you can enter for the Battleforce Category. ?Simply reply to this topic with your details and add your picture as an attachment to your post. ? Every few days, new picture will be added to the competition gallery (yet to be built) so that all entries in this category can be viewed together and hosted at a single site. All entries must be posted here by 23:59 GMT, 30th November 2004, and voting will commence from 1 December. Here's a Feral Ork army I'm currently working on. Still much to do before it will be a full army like adding Madboyz, more Steam Gargants Squiggoths and Orkeosaurus. The Gargantuan Squiggoth I've allready painted up will go in the Single Miniatures category so it cannot be shown here with the rest of the force. Cheers!

Hello there Luis Nunez here. ?My first competition! ? One small step for man, one titan leap for an epic figure. ?  Buildings and hedges from, ?and painted by, Timecast. ?The roads are from Miniature World Maker. ?GW epic Space marine vehicles are painted by me; of course. You always need a story? "Photograph of a Dark Angels Armored column, Task Force Cruz, moving through the village of St. Michelle. ?The column was in route to reinforce imperial lines under heavy assault from an Eldar warhost. Shortly after the image was taken, the armored column collided with a large Eldar force. ?The Eldar warhost had pierced, and now maneuvered, to encircle the imperial lines. ? A fierce firefight ensued as the marines where pushed back into the village. ?All Eldar attempts to take, or bypass, the village proved futile as the marines used the village as a bastion, preventing any further movement toward the imperial lines. ?The battery of whirlwinds proved invaluable, launching salvo after salvo against the Eldar forces. ?The Hunters also earned great glory as they punished any Eldar skimmer or flyer that appeared over the roof tops of St. Michelle. ? The village itself was the scene of intense fighting as Falcon and Predators tanks stalked each other through the confined streets all the while, marine battled guardian for the smallest ruin. The crisis was finally averted when an additional battle company was air dropped via Thunderhawk dropships. ?The diminished Task Force Cruz moved out of the smoking ruins of St. Michelle to take part in the imperial counter offensive that very night?
