The final three categories for the current EpiComp are now closed, and it has to be said that Warmaster Nice has done quite well!

WMN, can you contact me to sort out your prize, specifically which of the three categories you would like to take home?

The conversion result will also be released very shortly.

Well done to all who took part, and in particular all finalists in this very tough competition.

Thanks for your support.

Congrats to all winners :)
I gotta say this year must have been the toughest competition yet. Lots of awsome entries that all deserved to ?be in the finals. I know I for one have gotten a load of inspiration seeing some of the great ideas people have come up with.

I am of course happy and flattered (but honestly also a bit surprised :p) that so many of my own entries won this year. Since I can only win a single prize I think I should go for the entry I feel I have invested the most time and work in.
This would definitely have to be my Lucius pattern Imperator titan. Although it is up to the judges to make the final decision I guess this means that we should all give a big congrats to Reaver for winning the Single Unit catagory as well as Reddeth for the Batleforce category. Both are excellent entries and well deserved winners IMO.

Also a round of applause to CS who once again has put a lot of work into making this event possible, not to mention everybody who's been donating prizes. :)

Congrats to everybody who participated and to all winners!

I feel like a winner too, I was third in WE category. I wanna diploma for that! :D

Those Imperators were so great that there were no question of winner from the start.

Excellent work, WN.  Although I feel the winner should be obligated to make tutorials on how their model was built and painted so we may all benefit from his knowledge.  :)

:D

Well my ridiculously long Zeppelin thread does have WIP pics and comments on most of the entries.

It's not a bad idea though. Would be nice if all winners wrote a few words on their techniques, inspiration and tips and tricks for the WIKI pages.

Indeed, just like we had painting/conversion guides in Warp Rift for the recent Gothicomp finalists.

This is an excellent solution, since it also does not deny the second place holder of the War Engine category a prize... since that is also you.

I have to say that the eventual outcome was predictable but still well deserved non the less. Well done WMN, outstanding work.

Congrats aswell to Reddeth and Reaver, beautiful work guys (especially the Chaos stuff from Reddeth - my favourite entry in its catagory).

WMN, instead of an article, I'd love to see these wonderful minis being used on the game board! Hopefully we can see some lovely photos and battle reports of these amazing creations in action (where they belong)?

My added thanks to you CS for running a smooth and inspiring competition. Well done mate!

I have to say, I think the entries this year were the best yet.  Judging them was brutally difficult.  Personally, I agonized over every vote.

Congrats WMN! Wonderful stuff as always... of course, I have voted for a certain Zeppelin if it had appeared. Still, gives you a year till the next EpiComp!

The only disappointment for me was the Lucius Imperator beating the Steel Hammer - guess I'm a traditionalist at heart!

Great as well to see all the major conversions and scratch builds people entered. The modelling standard just keeps going up and up...

Regards,
Reaver
