After an extended delay, the galleries for all of the submissions for this years EpiComp are now available.

Check it out here.

Voting will begin very shortly.

Great job CS :;): I assume voting will continue into January then?

Interesting to see how the votes have already been spread out at this early stage. Only a few heats where some entries are clearly i the lead. I think that it really proves how tough voting is this year. People really seem to have difficulty deciding. Not surprising: So many awsome entries! :cool:

Well, I've just finished my voting for another year & just to echoe the thoughts of the guys above - it was a tough decision in many of the categories.

I spend a lot of my time looking at miniature painting competitions and display models painted to the very highest standards by the best in the industry. I therefore have become something of a harsh critic when judging competition entries.

Even so, i must say the level of entrants in many of the categories left me going back & forth between pictures trying to draw a line between them in order to vote.

Congratulations to everyone who entered & thank you all once again for another great dose of inspiration for my own projects & painting!

Some very tough categories to vote on this year.  I had forgotten how much awesome stuff had been produced by guys on the boards this year.  It was really good to look back over it like this.  It was also very interesting to see what the tallies were and where the majority either agreed or disagreed with me.

Epic- A version of the game with even smaller models that is often dominated by titans which are vehicles the size of a large building and have the ability to pwn...everything. There is also infantry, whose only function in Epic is to provide valuable traction to Titans walking across snowy paths.

All I can say is that this is my first year to be in something like this and it has been a blast.  To everyone who entered the comp. good luck and to those who did not, hope to see you in there next year.  Special thanks to CS for all the work and effort that went into getting the galleries ready for voting, and for such an awesome website.  :)
