And Nico, this means I owe you TWO winner certificates - gulp!

Meanwhile I'm sorting out the prizes as the winners who win more than one category only get to choose one.

Prizes:
As you all know winners of more categories get to choose which prize they prefer. In this case Apocolosyntosis (I get tired typing this!   ) chose to take the Open category prize; thus the Battleforce category goes to the second placed, the Saim Hann Windrider Warhost by Mark Logue! Seeing that this was by far the closest result, with just 2 votes difference (votes cast were 32 and 30), I believe this worked out quite well.
So the prizes go to:

War engine category: Nicodemus

Battleforce category: Mark Logue

Open category: Apocolosyntosis

Single model category: Onyx

Congrats to the winners, and thanks to all participants, all those who voted, to Cybershadow for hosting the show as usual and (a very big thank you, this) to the generous blokes giving prizes  :sign1: Please  get in touch with the winners to make arrangements for delivery.

EPICOMP09 is over - get building for EPICOMP'10!
(but not before getting stuff ready for Gothicomp of course!   )

Grats all!

Was good fun this year and I liked trying to puzzle out who entered what.

Looking forward to a great EpiComp 2010!

Congratulations to all the winners, and well done to all the participants - as ever, the standard of work was incredibly high, making voting really challenging!

First off, congratulations to all the winners! I felt like there were a lot of excellent entries again and that is only good for the hobby.

Thank you Van and CS for doing all the heavy lifting.

It was a blast everyone. Really looking forward to 2010!

Congrats to all, I found all this very inspiring and will definitively try and enter something next year (mind you I'm not holding my breath about making it past the first round).

Great stuff all round and I'm sure I'm not alone in saying that for those pieces which haven't yet been posted in the 6mm painting section then we'd love to see more pics. In particular I'd personally like to see more of those saim hann, I take it there's a whole army somewhere?

It's community efforts like this which really promote the game/hobby so I'd like to join in with all those who've already thanked the organisers and those who donated prizes, thank you for making my hobby that much more rewarding.

Thanks.  Yes there is an entire army of the Saim Hann finished and more in partially complete states.  I didn't take many pictures during painting but I will set them up and get a few pictures some time soon.
