just tying up a loose end here: last year I had promised to send a Euro donation to a local charity for each Epicomp 2010 entry, and as (at the time) I was messing around with titans - and in particular my own favourite, the Warhound - I'd chosen a local stray dogs association, and I have sent a donation to them, as promised.
I have not, regrettably, kept the other part of my promise, namely to paint one model per entry in one year - at least not unless you count ANY sort of model, instead of models for just one Epic army as promised, so my head hangs in shame there. I am only now working on an Epic force again. It is, of course, going sadly wrong, with all sorts of odd vehicles (of which there will be many) making up the force. A great believer in the 'no two sister ships are exactly alike' philosophy, I am extrapolating this to just 'alike', conveniently dropping the 'exactly' - and transposing the effect to tanks and armoured vehicles instead of ships. This works beautifully for Orks; sadly, my army is not in the least green.
