Thanks. I wanted to try this out, and then realised that I had no pictures on this PC! Thatt was one of the free Windows ones.
After chatting with Tas, I think that this is the best way of sorting this out, and will allow myself, Tas and Maksim (as mods) to 'police' the entries. The only down point is that the pictures are links, not displayed in the posts. But, with so many in the same place, this might not be such a bad thing for modem users.
Entries will also be archived to a gallery which I will put together so that people can view the pictures easily as well.

Let Chris and I know the final decision. Don't forget the Gallery has many other features that would help.
It is all in one easy to locate area with thumbnails that can be enlarged. People can leave comments on all the different pictures (something that has been noted on my own personal gallery!), it is easy to manage and individual pictures can be shuffled between selected albumns by the designated users.

Very much appreciated, but I think that we will simply state that pictures should be uploaded as attachments here. Getting people to post pictures elsewhere and then link makes it more complex than it needs to be, and invites the question of why join these boards anyway?
I will put together a gallery of the entires after they are posted and entered into the competition, and this can be done gradually with no urgent requirement to get it done within 2 hours.
