I researched at great length and finally gound their pre-heresy colour scheme. Dark Green legs and knees/legs, Black upper body and groin, with red and yellow for the accent colours.

I painted my knights in the colour scheme just to try it out. It looks very nice. Now I have undercoated most of the Titans and have collected 3 x Warlord, 2 x Reavers, 2 Reavers made from converting 40K scale Armiger Warglaives, 2 x Warhounds, 2 Cerastus Knights, 6 x Questoris Knights.

I intend to get 4 more Cerastus Knights, and 2 more warhounds, and perhaps another Warlord or Reaver Titan if they release more weapons upgrade packs for missiles like warp or Vortex Missiles.

I will have to take some photos, but I want to upgrade my Knights with the back mounted guns, missile packs, etc.

Sounds like you have a plan!

There's a Vulcanum pic in the Facebook group if memory serves - green base color with gradient yellow-to-red flames.

Please post progress pics!

Although I can not access Facebook, as I refuse to open up a Facebook account, I can guess that the pic is probably the Forge World 40K 6th/7th ed issued picture used in Seige of Vraaks Volumes. In the Vraksian book, they say that Vulcanum II does not have a standard colour scheme guide line. Titans are painted to represent the Chaos power of the possessing Daemon.

I am using the paint scheme from after the Horus Heresy for Legio Vulcanum II that I found on website (forget which one though), not the heresy era Legio Vulcanum I paint scheme. I researched 40K Wikipedia, lexicum and other sources to find the colour scheme.

I am a little dissapointed that GW has not expanded their list of Legios used during the Horus Heresy in their recently released Adeptus Titanicus. In the old game system, they had a major list of Legios, including banners, and colour schemes. So much has been lost through them retconning things, and just deleting them from their system.

Thankfully many fans have kept the info, and have it on widely accessible websites.

You're in luck that titandeath is supposed to have a whole lot of that in it. Shouldn't be too long before we get a pre-order (early 19 people are guestimate)

From the designer interviews they've done thus far, we know there will be rules for at least 4 Legios, including:
  • Legio Solaria - Imperial Hunters
  • Legio ?? - Nova Guard
  • Legio Krytos - Godbreakers

"Titandeath" doesn' t has Legio Vulcanum but the next supplement "Doom of Molech" will have them :)
