More printed scifi stuff (a bit more BT-centric but still very usable) https://steelwarriorstudios.com/ |

Lots of cool scatter terrain, but soon also buildings: Bits Blitz Designs' shop on Cults3d. For those without a printer, printed versions of the models can be bought here. |

Don'tknow if this been mentioned: https://www.myminifactory.com/users/Sacrusmundus I thought I'd give them a go - obviously they're 30mm in scale, but I see no reason why I can't scale them down about to about 30% or so, they look very printable that way, and I've done so for some 10mm fantasy terrain before. There's several sets fof various 40k races. |

I actually went and purchased a couple of the above sets, and printed a test piece for comparison. Here are some quick snapshots. This is the simplest square building of the set with two stories and roof. Managed to split the roof piece in two when removing supports, so it needs some gluing.. The building on the right is a free one from cults3d, a small factorium or something. Wanted another comparison point. I scaled the stl models down to 33 percent of original size, doesn't look too bad? If you compare the height and size of the windows with the piece from EPIC box, you can see they're not too different. Obviously, the rooms in the printed ones are higher than the EPIC piece, but I don't think that is too far off, and in any case these are administration buildings or something with suitably grand architecture, so they would have high ceilings? Since the buildings have interiors too, it's easy to place infantry bases inside, if you like. There's certainly room enough for a stand inside this basic house. |
