I got two in the mail - in a week, which is faster than ever for a shipment from the UK - and have assembled one (just some gap filling left, maybe). It’s such a nice kit that I found myself treating it like something more serious, and ended up spending a few hours cleaning up the flash and every little imperfection I could find. Not because they’re a problem, but because everything looks so clean and fits so well that it feels like a display piece. The resin is softer than I’m used to, but it also feels less brittle and breakable. Mold lines only bothered me on the engine nozzles and the gun I ended up using (I'm not sure what kind of gun it actually is, tbh). It has some coils on the sides and there’s a mold seam running perpendicular to them. Other than that, some minor flash and whatever you call the extra pieces of resin where there must’ve been a tiny bubble in the mold. No warpage at all. It goes together like a dream. That's a change from past equivalents, especially where their wings interfaced with the fuselage. I should be able to do the second one more quickly, and then I'll paint them up. Here are some pictures for scale.

@carlisimo109, great to hear you are happy with the model, its a great design and we spent considerable time and effort to make it the best we could. It was also well worth going with a high quality resin caster for these and I think I'll be using them for all future large aircraft models. Yes the resin is softer than normal it has a very plastic like quality to it making it a dream to work with, and as you say it should be more resistant to breakage. |

I think you have the rear stabilizer on backwards though. You can see the flaps at the front rather than the rear in the at top shot. |

Ah, crap. I thought those looked like elevators... It just seemed to fit better backwards; didn't have to squeeze it on, and the central fairing lined up pretty well with the leading edge of the vertical fin. |
