ORDERING NEWS I just thought I would let you all know the current situation here at Vanguard where ordering is concerned. For various reasons I have reached a point within the business where the workload has started to exceed my capacity to deal with it all alone, and I really could now do with some help. Unfortunately due to COVID 19 restrictions I cannot yet look to seek that help or hire anyone in that capacity, therefore I have to find other ways to cope. To that end I will be disabling ordering on my website at random points and for random periods of time in order to give myself the necessary breathing room to attend to whatever else needs doing. From this point onward if you do not see “add to cart” buttons on the site then you know that ordering has been temporarily disabled. This is obviously not the best approach and may cause some inconvenience for my customers and I apologise for that but it is a necessary step if I am to keep things moving along smoothly. |

Good that you've decided to take someone else on. Pausing orders doesn't sound ideal but fair enough if it's not possible to take someone on currently due to covid. A few years ago my housemate was struggling at times and often stressed when it was just him working the bicycle wheel building business he set up but he risked expanding and investing more in marketing and things have taken off and he now has 3 other employees working for him. |

STOCK SITUATION 13/04/21 As you are all probably aware there are many items currently out of stock, this is due to a high number of orders in recent months and a very slow re-supply from my main metal casters. The good news is that I am expecting a large shipment today which will go someway towards replenishing the stock level on core items. Checking a bagging stock into sets however is a very time consuming process, therefore I have taken the decision to disable ordering once again on the site in order to free up the necessary time for me to do this essential stock building work. All orders that have been received up till now will be processed and shipped as usual. I will post here again once ready to receive orders once more. There will be several new releases to look forward to also, many thanks for your patience. John |

hi - do you mind me asking if Vanguard will still be distributing Onslaught minis? I noticed the stock has run down quite a lot. Hope you are not stopping as the site was a great 'one stop shop' for all of that scale range, and it means I will have to order direct from the US!

I am currently consider my options with the stocking of onslaught, Don has recently switched over to 3D printed for many of his models and I'm not sure if I should look to stock such products or not. Any feedback from the community on this would be greatly appreciated. |
