cool, that means I will still get to use some nice minis for my Elysian drop list, even for friendly games.

New rescupt of buggies are coming out soon. They are a little bigger as well. Might even get an anti-air turret later on, from what I hear. It will be cool.

And since the list is where I want it at, it is ready to test. So please organise with your friends and groups to test it. It takes months of testing and battle reports to determine if the list is balanced - neither too weak, nor too OP. The rules need to be fair, simple and able to be understood and implemented easily using the standard rule set.

The list will invariably change since no everyone will be satisfied. The list will have advantages over some armies, but be seriously tested by others. The ruling board might look at some rules, additions, units, formations or even the price of certain units as either too expensive or too cheap for what you get.

Even once approved, the list will have a long period of settling in, an will eventually be requested to be updated, as some mechanic in the list has been found to be too complicted, or makes the list too powerful against certain armies, and they will want to start afresh again.

However I think the list is about the best it can be without being OP, and will have enemy armies out there that will cause them to be running for cover, trying to hold out while they get their preverbial arses shot to pieces. They still hate artillery, especially MW artillery, but atleast they can drop and try and engage an Ork Super Stompa, or a Gargant, or perhaps an ork warhorde with enough troops on the ground to do something.

As you have seen in my painting blog, the minis have painted up really well.

Purchase made.

Even without an actual GenCon this is turning into an expensive weekend.

WEEKS BREAK

Starting today 13/09/20 I will be taking a weeks break, well after a fashion anyway. I will still be dealing with other aspects of the business but will not be taking or processing new orders. Ordering on the site has therefore been disabled, I will still process any orders already received however. This will be the first such break I have had since starting up vanguard five years ago.

WEBSITE

On other news we are in the process of refreshing the website with a more modern layout which will hopefully be easier to use and navigate. More news on this as it develops.

STOCK

As you are all probably aware many items are now either very low or completely out of stock. I do have several large re-stock orders in with my various casters and have a large batch 48 kilos worth of items arriving Monday with more to follow. With almost six hundred products in the inventory now keeping everything in stock is quite a challenge especially when I am totally reliant on out sourced manufacture, but rest assured I am doing my best to get products back in stock as soon as possible.

Wish I was in the UK and I could help out as a volunteer after I retire (about 4 years from now). Oh, and happy birthday again!

ORDERING ENABLED

Well what happened to my week off I wonder, in the end it wasn’t much of a week off after all. On Monday I had a large re-stock order arrive and then more stock turned up during the week so I ended up sorting and bagging stock for the best part of the week. Only about half way through that lot too, oh well maybe next time.

So anyway ordering has been enabled once more thank you all for your patience.

Regards John
