If you believe that the FCC is a bit meh, then shave 25pts off the cost, would it costing 50pts make it to broken?
I know when I build a titan I nearly always take a gun over it.

Hi!

This is my take and my experience. Nothing is better than an extra weapon. Ether they get moved to the back of the carapace or given for less cost (or no cost IMO).

Agreed. And certain system's rules about First Fire bonuses make the tower even less desirable.... :whistle

It's looking more and more to me like the FCC is not broken at all. Whether it is useful or not seems very much as a matter of personal preference. While Primarch and Mattman have said that they either rarely or never use it, both scream and myself have said that we do use / have seen it used.

As I mentioned before, this is the realm of house rules. Keep the rules as written. Let everyone change what they like. I've used my own house rules for years and I try never to force those into the rules.

Not all rules are for everyone and that's okay. :)

Make sure you include my recommendations on this for net epic evolution. Under those rules the standard net epic rules for all this carapace things that replace weapons make no sense. :)

Going to add something unrelated to titans with the nifty Cybershadows quickstarter should the A-M get more Light Artillery I personally imagine them being all about Tarantula's and Rapiers etc.....

FCC +Plasma Destructor always seemed a pretty solid choice and is extensively used here....you dont need the extra carapace weapon if you cant fire it anyway....

I'm also fine with the weapon costs as they are. It is easy enough to work out combos to effectively spend your points.

One thing I do think the AMTL list could use is some of the newer nifty Admech infantry types. Current infantry choices in the AMTL list while canon, are admittedly a bit bland. Servitors, Electropriests, Admech Tech Priests and the like would add a little flavour, especially seeing some very nice proxies seem immanent.

In the point cost thread I've included an entry for Knight Warden Mk2. This is because one of the old 1st edition Knight Warden models has what appears to me to be a small version of a Multi-Launcher rather than anything that could reasonably be an Autocannon. It's stats are identical to the listed Warden, except it's main weapon is: Multi-Launcher, 100cm, 4 BP, 5+, 0. Note that each Warden fires it's own 4 BP Barrage, they do not combine fire.

You are correct. The old model has a multi-mauncher. I always liked those models (have quite a few of them).

This is one of the things the point system would be great at, assigning points values to any model or variant player's have.

I've noticed that AM has access to the inquisitor character but it has not entry in Unit descriptions.
