Tyranid codex - corrections

Hi

In the Hormagaunt Brood text on page 9, it says:
"Hormagaunts are Slave creatures, subject to the Hunt instinct"

on page 24 in the summary it says:
"Slave (Rampage)" for Hormagaunts.

I take it that the summary is correct.

I don't think the summary would be correct, as in 2nd edition Epic the Hormgaunts are Hunt based and not Rampage based. Their card is Green (Hunt) whereas Rampage is Blue. Thus the description on page 9 would be correct.

Hi

Ok, thats a bad instinct for them, as it is, hunt stands as their instinct. I shall the make a proposal for change. Give Hormagaunts rampage instinct instead of Hunt, as I think that maks more sense considering Hormagaunts combat capabilities.

While I would agree that Rampage would be more beneficial for Hormagaunts than Hunt is, the Instinctive behaviors are not always supposed to be the optimal choice for all models. If it were, there would be no incentive (well, less) for the player to maintain any coherency with Synapse models. Thus while Hunt may be non-optimal, I think it should remain. What do other people think?

I am in favor of the better instinct for them. But thats based on my limited experience playing against them (5 times total).

Hi,

as far as "Tyranid order reward cards" have been removed from tyranid card deck, giving hormagaunts the Rampage instinct would be coherent.
