De?Aynes Statement To the Epic Community, De?Aynes began on the old Epic40k.com as just a collection of War Machines, and then after netepic.org took it over, it grew to be much bigger, taking in all Epic models and growing to almost 1000 images. In this time, I was the only guy running it, and I had a lot of fun with it as well. However, I have no time to do this anymore, due to ?life? getting in the way. This has lead to it being more than neglected recently. Therefore, I am stepping down as De?Aynes editor. I am passing what I began onto someone else. I wish the best to my successor, and I hope you help De?Aynes grow and become much more than it is now. Many Thanks Chris Corker Additional: The next De?Aynes update will take place on the 15th of November, with a further 146 images. A successor will be announced on the same date. |

Chris. I am sorry to hear this, but I am very glad that the gallery will continue even when you are having trouble finding the time. It must be difficult to see your project move on, but I think that you can take great pride in what you have achieved with it. All the best, and I hope that you will have the time to pop in here as often as possible. |

It is hard to see it move on, although I am not totally leaving. I hope to stick around here more often, as I have been missing out on stuff. When I say life, basically college work and other stuff is getting in the way. I have some huge coursework projects and well as all the other bits of homework. Second Year College is hard! I'm starting to sort stuff out now, I was really bad at organising my time (which is partly why there were very few updates recently) but I'm getting better. |

I am afraid that I may be the enemy here, but being able to organise your time is probably one of the most difficult, and most useful, things to come to grips with. I do know that you wont regret letting De'Aynes continue under someone elses guidance, and devoting more time to your studies. I have been there and I had to give up a few of the fun things in life, but it was worth it in the end. (I feel old!) |

If your college work gets the same attention as DeAynes did when you set it up, expect a full distinction ![]() Over a thousand pictures were added and catalogued by Chris during his reign and a giant round of applause is greatly needed! PS: C/S you are old ![]() |

Hi! Between the last years or college and med school my gaming pursuits were paralyzed. Its a hard time of much work... ...but at the end you can get yourself a job that pays enough to get lots of epic minis.... ![]() Primarch |

Welll, if you dont have a boss, you don't have anyone to gripe about, or point fingers at, etc etc.... ![]() Oh, and time management is very difficult. Especially if you get married and have some kids in there to boot. Like me! ![]() my 2cents, iblisdrax |

The update is due for tonight, I will do this update as we have quite a back log to process and I don't wanna overburden our new Curator on his first day! There will be an announcement tonight - the new Curator is a well respected member of the EPIC community, who I am sure that most of you will know from his online presence. There will also be a big update... lots of new photos, the current collection will grow by about 15% ![]() |
