Great work! I only skimmed through so far, but it WAS nice to see the Gamesday pics fresh from the mint, and that Tau army is gorgeous.
Cheers! :D  :D  :D

It was a great day today and it was good to put it in the issue.  I hope that we can put more stuff in incoming like army battle reports and hopefully painted armies with histories hint hint  :p

Hi!

Very nice!

I liked the Battle report with the Tau in them. Sweet!

Doug....suggestion....perhaps a printer-friendly version would be a good idea for future issues, alongside the main one?

Why is this not printer friendly? :)

Dammit - that is not a flattering pic of me :p. Good review of Gamesday... was very interesting. Wore the cap, had major issues with my hair...

Totty count was limited although someone in HR is making sure that some birds get recruited by the staff :). One blonde in particular was rather ace :D.

Liked the Debt of Honour fiction, one piece of advice I would make rather than using numberals, use words wherever possible. It is easier on the eyes :). Other than that it is an interesting plot that is rarely seen in the 40k scene and some good choice of characterising features.

Tom,

I could have taken a pic first thing this morning which could have been worse  ???

As for the fiction, thats fine.  I do try to limit what I change but thats something rather simple.

Chris:I would need to know what you mean by printer friendly as I have rather limited publishing skills so you need to let me know what problems you are experiencing, that way I can help as much as possible.

Ah ok...what I mean by printer friendly is one that is all on a simple white background. I love the grey tint that is used, but one with a white background would be very easy to print.

Just an idea. If this is mad tell me and it shall never be mentioned again.

that sounds fine.  Someone else had mentioned that but I wasnt sure whether it was because it was due to a black and white printer or if it just disturbed them.  The white background is easy enough to do, it was just because it looked nicer when viewing it on the pc.  I will speak to Tom to find out what is easiest, change the background or have 2 links.  Unless he sees this first

Thanks for the tip

Dammit, you beat me to the punch as I hope to put in a GD review from a Gothic perspecive in issue five of Warp Rift. We also have a printer-friendly version (Warp Rift Lite), which does OK. All I basically do is produce a normal issue, and then go over all of the pictures with white boxes to get rid of them. It makes it easier on the ink of those who want to print the publication out.

I will download the issue and take a look. Thanks.

Lovely issue. :;):  I must say that my favourite Games Day pic is the one of the new Eldar Super Heavies! They're simply gorgeous! Gee what I wouldn't give to have actually been there. (Well except for the insane ammount of money a trip to the UK + tickets would cost of course... :p  )

Cheers! :)

Oops sorry Cybershadow, but I am really an avid fan of Epic and BFG.  So I was seeking out more for BFG and Epic for myself as well as for the article.  Not everything turned out clear for me to use but it was nice to know that we are having big projects pushed our way.

Yes that was a Psi titan, I have had that for years. After finding out that Mail Order US were selling them some time ago I bought another 3 kits with some exodites.

Thats one way of working Tom,

I thought you would say that regarding your piccy....  The group photo on the other thread looks good.

We are just getting ready to go to Birmingham International to fly home.   All the goodies being packed extra careful to avoid breakages.  Epic Grey Knights staying with me  :p
