Hi!
The issue of the Epicentre's traffic over the years is one I share routinely with Tom. Its amazing how much its gone up. With an average of 6-7 thousand unique hits per month we're almost around 70-80k unique hits yearly.
To put that in perspective the original Epicentre run by Simon Dodds, when he closed it after net epic's first 3 years had a TOTAL of 70k unique hits.
An increase of about 300%.
Not bad.

Ahem.... around 8k uniques a month now dude , and that was for a month without an Incoming! release (which always sents our traffic rocketing).

this sounds a bit like boasting and gloating, but I thought I would post my stats as a comparison
In January I got 34,187 unique visits
In the last 12 months I got 270,505 unique visits
My daily average for February is 1147 unique vists

Well, I may as well add my stats here as well.
January 2004 Total Hits: 603861 Total Vistis: 12426 Average Hits Per Hour: 811 Average Visits Per Day: 400
Not quite up to Jimbos standards, but not bad at all (I still remember a time when I was happy with 400 hits per month!
Still, this is all really good news. The number of Epic fans out there in web-land must be increasing quite considerably.

Does this increase in the numbers of hits show that Epic popularity is on the up I wonder....
We can dream
Cheers

the search terms used to find my website from search engines seem to show this
prior to November Epic Armageddon was not in my top 20 search terms
In December it got 74 hits and was 8th
In January it got 114 hits and was 5th
So far in February it is 4th with 86 hits (and we still have 10 days to go)
Top search term in case you are interested is Space Marines.

Hi!
I always get confused between unique hits and just hits. I suppose the counter on the front page is just total hits?
Tom, we definitely need better search access.
