Well, I did not know this.
Anyway, I think I'll send these to Tom in monday (next time I get Internet access)

Yep it is me, the one and only dylexic, disfunctional fiction writer.
Please note there was a previous announcement that whilst we were using the GW fluff, it isn't canon. Hence we have squats.
The battle for Earth will be noticibly different and much more detailed.
Plus - there is already a project planned for afterwards for Incoming! As well as I am still doing the WH Tides Of Darkness fiction.
BTW: This issue is still running strong on the downloads so can't be that bad . 647 hits in eight days.

Squats were chewn by the Tyranids in very recent past. At the time of Heresy they still were around.
And the Demiurg... seems that some shorty, beardy, beer-drinking miners will pay a visit to the 40k universe in undetermined time in future.

Primarch | Not quite - they're the old ones in the 40K Codex Necrons - and they're the one who (e.g.) 'gave us' the orks to serve as a warrior caste defending the galaxy from Necrons and C'tan. But they're not referred to as Slann any more, and are apparently extinct. Unlike the surviving Lizardmen and their froggy Slann masters in WHFB.

They had cool fluff and army rules.... there is something about regiments shrouded in mist that makes exceptional fiction.

I take your Slann, and trump it with my Fimir! | Ahhh... the wonders of the swamp dwellers.
Between them, Zoats & the Slann's Pigmy cohorts, there are many a forgotten mini.....

I remember fighting against Eldar armies which had Zoat units in them, was all part of the fluff back in Rogue Trader days! I also remember fighting big battles of WFB with Fimir units wandering around... they had this protective mist which made them hard to shoot.
