Hello all - This thread will document the progress of my new miniature line, Onslaught Miniatures. These miniatures will be available to the general public via http://www.onslaughtmini.com in the near future.

Onslaught Miniatures are designed for general use in any 6mm war-game.
Please refrain from any mention of existing miniature lines, gaming systems, or other IP.

Terran Hybrids were created by The Legion, originally for diplomatic interactions with the Terran Empire. Unlike most of the Legion's biological warrior constructs, the Terran Hybrids have thus far proven to be an unstable strain, mixing the genetic traits of Humans and Legion constructs in unpredictable ways.

Terran Hybrids are slightly larger than normal humans, have a hunched posture, and feature many Legion traits such as three-fingered hands and additional limbs ending in crab-like pincers.

While not as adept in close quarters fighting as other Legion constructs, Terran Hybrids are quite cunning, and can operate with little supervision on the battlefield. The utter revulsion and fear these creatures cause in human forces is an advantage the Legion makes full use of when fighting the Terran Empire.

These are very nice

Is there any plan to have one of the Hybrids with no weapons and just claws?

Like a unit of unarmed Terran Hybrids? That's a cool idea - let me work on that.

I was also thinking about creating a command unit, with a leader, standard bearer, and the like. Would there be any interest out there for something like that?

What about Terran Hybrids with heavy weaponry or other specialists?

I'd buy some; They would fit well as an add-on to my Insurgency army.

When creating Terran Hybrid constructs, the Legion has discovered that each outcome is unpredictable, and sometimes goes horribly wrong. Most of these failed attempts are unable to function in any useful capacity and are destroyed. Some of these aberrations prove to be useful however, and are utilized by the Legion in war. The creatures known as "Abominations" by Terran forces are one such sub-species of Hybrid which are commonly encountered by enemies of the Legion.

Terran Hybrid Abominations show much more in common with Legion constructs than regular Hybrids, who in contrast tend to be more human-like. Abominations seem to show no interest in weaponry, preferring instead to tear their prey asunder with their pincers and claws. They are stronger and faster than normal Terran Hybrids, and nearly always feature more Legion construct features such as four arms, cloven hooves, and even vestigial tails.

Perhaps the most terrifying aspect of these abominations is their human-like personalities. While other Legion constructs kill with animal-like indifference, Abominations seem to take a sadistic pleasure in the pain they inflict on their enemies.

I like 'em. If you're offering unarmed and armed I suggest giving a pistol to the armed guy on the far left. Otherwise he'll feel left out when all his other buddies are shooting.
