A Dune reference. I never thought of gaming in that universe at that scale....now to brainstorm on some ideas :)

Not from Dune, but what about space-faring ratmen? They don't exist in the 6mm world yet...

Actually, I'm thinking tigers. Like Niven's Kzinti (among many others). This is a broad enough trope (almost cliche) that no particular company owns the IP on the idea of anthropomorphic tiger warriors. Though Khurasan's Felids are a nice place to start if you're thinking about it (and as a company might like the idea of having a partner do their army in 6mm).

What would be important, and frankly this is a problem in gaming in general, is to decide in advance what their tactical and strategic doctrine will be. They should have a unique feel on the tabletop; otherwise it's just new look and feel for the same generic equipment and playstyle.

But first let's see the Stygians.

Well, if we are pitching ideas for new races to him, for years I have wanted to see a race of sci-fi, intelligent octopuses. Not Cthuloid/Mind Flayer/Davey Jones tentacled humanoids, but a non-humanoid alien species based on invertebrate cephalopods.

However, I don't think deacon is lacking in inspiration or ideas yet.

C in C are doing 6mm space lions that should work for Tigers? i havn't tried yet :0) was going to use them as
Greater Good conquered world Krooters.

i got me some Khurusan Feld infantry, very good figs.

i'm going to use their Penguins with snowballs as proixy beastmen in my Ishak Demonworld army!
