great links Tom, funny?! terrified!

i prefer my bio weapons built in, bums that fire acid poop and squirting
projections.
bio guns that look like guns with eyes as a compremise, upset me...

Please stay away from GW:s latest bug design trend. Weapon with eyes are the Tyranid equivalent to skullsssssss. If it is supposed to be alien, do not add human parts as in "Oh, instead of targeters, the guns have eyes". That termite face-gun has neither.

[insert bad Star Trek pun]

Yeah, guns with eyes make no sense whatsoever.

My old (long retired) Tyranids army used no missile weapons at all.

For a rampaging bio-menace, there's a far better alternative: bio-warfare in the form of micro-organisms and swarms of insect-sized creatures. You get all the advantage of ranged and even indirect fire, but in a wildly different package.

Plenty of examples of this in nature too :-D

Work continues - ditched the seats, and just added two shielded "rows" the passengers knell inside when riding. Got some chains on the outside to hang onto, can't really add them inside due to casting concerns. The Gun position was adjusted again to make room for the passengers. The floor will be textured. Still no work on the cockpit yet - there will be chains and skulls decorating it as well.

Oh so love this design. I'd be buying the bazeeebus out of this one.

On the topic of purchases, I was looking at your Hybrid and Avian ranges and I'm having trouble with some distribution of figure types. Specifically, for NetEpic rules you probably only ever want 1 Avian War Chieftain miniature, but conversely in a another list you'd want lots of Hybrid Primes. Any chance of another Horde Hybrid army deal without abominations but more hybrids and a couple more primes? :)

Yeah, I only want 2 leaders of those Avians, so I won't buy the blister with 25.

And about random poses: I have 25 exactly the same Sectnids :(

I'm not making units with any particular game system in mind.

The odds of that are incredible! You need to go out an play the lottery! Seriously though, shoot me an email to don@onslaughtmini.com and we can talk about a replacement.

I bet there's someone (or someones) on the board that would enjoy splitting a blister with you. [shrugs]

All that being said, eventually when things settle down you might want to consider a parts service.

Check it out guys - got the cockpit detailed out, and in the end I think the overall shape is pretty interesting!

What do you guys think? getting close to wrapping this one up:

Overall it's looking great mate, my only comment here would be that if those slots on the front piece are meant to be windows for the pilot then maybe they could be a bit higher up so that it looks as if he has room for his legs. If they are not view ports then please ignore this comment.

That looks amazing. I'm trying to picture it with spikes on the front, ' cause I can see the aliens piloting it trying to hit people with the prow for shits and giggles.

Shut up and take my money!

The detailing on the front is perfect. Nice use of negative space.

My only tiny niggling complaint remains that the gunner's posture is too stiff and upright. Beyond that, I'd like to see how the tri-gun version is going to look.
