Rivets, banding reinforcement at 90 degrees to the banding lines, small panels, etched lines, rivets.

Towering above the endless masses of lesser Legion constructs, the Mantis Beasts tear into enemy armor with mindless savagery. Equipped with enormous mantis-like bladed arms, these brutes open up armored tanks with ease, allowing the lesser beasts that swarm around them to devour the crews within.

Mantis beasts are equipped with heavy armor and bladed gauntlets - adding to their natural reliance and lethality. The Legion also makes extensive use of Mantis Beasts when executing boarding actions in space - where their sensory tentacles allow the beasts to taste their victims before they even know they are being hunted.

Do The Legion make use of alien allies?
You could make some less humanoid to distance them for the hybrids, sort of like the monsters of the 'alien trilogy' but more bug like (if you get where I am coming from.. :P)

:D That is riveting. Looks a bit like a vehicular chickenpox. Love the tentacles.

There's a bunch of more Alien-looking bugs on page 4.

I want a few maintenance hatches in various places thrown in. I think the rivets need rivets. :D

A minor note, but I still think that E&C has a point. Add some vertical groves to the banding, suggesting a separation of plates. What makes that look good is that it suggests size (Bismarck) better than a single surface does (Morris minor).

Makes it easier to paint. Well, make it easier to look good that is. Much like painting the old Capital Imperialis. Thing had so many flat plates that you had to spend FOREVER blending to make it good at all attractive.

NO! And I'm getting a bit pissed at this point - may have to look for another caster...

The Hybrids and Mantis Beasts should be coming back in a few days (Mantis Beasts were done a while ago).

As for the Tartarus, I'm having concerns with the quality of the 3d printer I had in mind, so I may go with someone else, but the initial printing costs will be much higher...

Thinking about maybe launching a kick-starter to raise funds. I've never done one before, so I'm not sure how difficult it is to set up, but it may be a good way to get the ball rolling.

Stay Tuned!
