Sleek A, Scorpion B or meh C. I'd vote for B. I also like the smaller bases and the rear fins, which could maybe have I pointy curving blade pointing forwards (add some balance, protection for the feet and added offensive weapon). These smaller forward blades could also be added to the back of the front fins (we're they curve back). While your at it, add one to the undercarriage below the intake, that should prove useful when flying over enemies >:D. Generally I do go for spikey bits (I'm genre rally a good player), but these suit the fluff of the Stygian and can always be removed by the user.

Thanks for the votes everyone - I'll work more on it tonight, it'll be forward and more scorpion-tail-like in appearance.

i was thinking something like this, but inverted. presume the connection to the console would be too hard to cast.

Great looking stuff. While I like B & C slightly more than A, I'd vote for a mix of all three. As for bases on the bikes, I'd be cutting the bases off and mounting them on varying heights of brass rod to match my other jet-bikes and skimmers.

A looks the best to me- More sleek and feels faster.

But I honestly will chuck money at these no matter how the tails go on. Everything looks fantastic so far.

Forward is more aggressive in appearance - back facing looks oddly Flash Gordon-ish - which is not a bad thing but not the aesthetic I am looking for... No fin at all does seem to be a choice lacking a certain something.

I like the forward scorpion style best, of those three options. Lacking anything in the back makes the whole thing look unbalanced, and I'll agree with Sawbones that the backward swept one looks a little retro to me, which is not a bad thing, but doesn't seem to match the rest of the fairly aggressive spikes and malice appearance of the rest of the Stygian line.

How about using the forward sweep blade of the middle option, but rotating it back to the angle of the first option (ie, so that rather than sweeping from vertical to forward over the rider, it swept from backwards up to vertical)? That could give the aggressive effect of the forward blade, but the sleeker look that most of the proponents of the first option want.
