Hi! This reminds me of 4th edition net epic. We had a lot of fan made lists. Even one for smurfs! ![]() I need to contact the Epicenter webmaster to see if we can add this one. ![]() Primarch |

Oh before you do that, I would hope people take a good look at it first! I have no illusions as to my skill in crafting entire armies with only a little input from other people and I remember the Smurf army, lol. I'm hoping to get some thought about the designs and help carving out a little of the unintentional cheese. |

It's been downloaded 5 times with no comments. Either it is really good, bad, or just too long, lol.

Hi! Hey, when I originally founded net epic I said that if I was lucky enough for at least ONE download, it was worth it. You got FIVE so you doing pretty good. ![]() Primarch |

I was one of those original downloads, lol. By the way, thanks for Netepic. It's half the reason why I still love this game. I'm just hoping for additional input. I'd really like to make decent armies. |

I downloaded it and had a brief run through. It is somewhat interesting, if a bit of an odd focus. Your first post seemed to indicate that you had specific models in mind for the things in the file, but the file is very vague in many places as to what to use for various things. For example, your "Eye Monster" (or whatever the name was for the giant eyeball with tentacles coming out of it's back). You seem to have a specific thing in mind for this, but I have no idea of what to use as a model for this. It might have been helpful to include more pictures and/or a list of suggested models. I will mention that I am not really familiar with the B-Movie franchise, so I'm probably missing a large number of references that seem obvious to you. That said, I do like the concept of an "army" consisting of 'Giant Monsters' (other than Tyranid). The first two armies you had therein were decent. Note I wasn't really looking to see if they were balanced or even playable, but the concepts seem solid. The third army though has a major problem. Their entire back-story is essentially the same as Orks. This one seems to me like you are "recreating the wheel", and thus seems somewhat redundant. I'd recommend changing them in some major way. If I get the time (not likely until next year) I may run them through the Points Formula to see how well you put costs to them. Thus my initial, cursory review is that this is a good effort, but could use some refinement. |

Magnus, Thank you for the thoughtful reply. Your words echo some of the other feedback I have received and I am glad that you took the time to respond. To help clarify: I was deliberately vague as to the models to encourage the use of anything you could find, I even went so far as to delete out the images I had scavenged from the internet. I see now that this is an error on my part. We epic players tend to be a visual lot, unfortunately my painting skills are less in the epic scale and more in the amateur range. I shall try to correct that. Attachment: The Eye Horror army was ment to be a scratch built army based on a clay ball with wire armature. This is a cheap way to make an army that anyone capable of rolling a ball out of clay can do. At it's worst (my skill level) it looks uniform but a bit cheap. If you have the time and money to purchase models, any War of the Worlds Martian Tripods would fit the build and look far better. The giant monster army is a way to use any extra monster you have laying around from Warhammer Fantasy, other games, or just a nice piece that you always thought would be awesome. It is a direct homage to the old Godzilla movies. Even dime store dinos and plastic ants could be used. Attachment: The last army...is just missing something. Even I am not happy with it. I think it will get deleted in the next round or seriously rewritten. |

More silliness from a bored mind.... This is a Nurgle Knight Household that makes use of two of the old hunchback knight models. Comments and suggestions are always welcome! |

No hurry. The last lot was an attempt to make easy armies for someone to just try to play without spending much money. After watching and talking on the Facebook page, I just do this for fun and to give the people like me, who don't have anyone near them, something to do/read. |
