Encegon Heavy Tanks: The Land Raider is substantially larger, parfticularly in height.

Marghaast Heavy Assault Tanks. Clearly these are much smaller than the likes of the Baneblade and Shadowsword

Hi!

The problem is that epic was never really 6mm. Its probably close to 10mm (around 8mm). Thus the over size of their minis compared to everything else.

I hadn't realised that. It would be very interesting to see how DZC stuff measures up next to GW stuff.

This doesn't cause any issue for me personally because the fluff is that the Marhaf Legion use A.I. designed technology which is streets ahead of what the Imperium has. The design of the Marhaf minis - in my humble opinion - is also streets ahead of the GW "classics"...

Hi!

here is a thread floating around here somewhere were I posted comparison pictures. The dropzone stuff is slightly larger in some cases and a good fit in others. In other words GW's "epic scale" is all over the place... ;D

Also of note would be that the Marhaf vehicles don't have to 'waste' internal space for crew. Seats, walking space, life support, etc all take up a fair amount of space. Not having those means doing the same job while taking up less room.

Nice, thank you!

They could still work as a LeMan Russ variant, I think.

Exactly! Though there will be transport vehicles in the 2nd wave to be released over the summer. From memory, the idea also is that in the remote corner of the galaxy where the Marhaf have been hiding they have discovered some sort of superior metal to that traditionally used for vehicle armour. Tougher but less required, hence thinner armour and no internal space = smaller vehicles.

I haven't play tested this force yet but intend to do so in the near future.

Looking back over this thread I'm pleasantly surprised at what I've came up with so far. My main worry is the formation sizes being mostly 2 to a unit. This was to make it easier for enemy forces to break Marhaf units but I'm wondering if this will give them a ridiculous amount of flexibility. I may have to reduce the command radius to 20cm to counter this but I'll play test first.
