Turn 2:
Initiative = Dark Eldar
Most of the Dark Eldar decide it is stand and fire time, while the Chaos masses continue to press forward. ?The Reavers however take the opportunity to capture the victims of the Enslavers (+2 VP). ?The Firelord continues toward the Dark Eldar backfield but the Banshees pepper the giant flyer with laser fire and bring it crashing to the ground. ?Chaos Rhinos and Marines all charge toward the objective being covered by a Raider detachment, trying (successfully in the end) to snatch it away. The Ravens swoop down on the emerging conflagration in the center of the ruined city.
Ravagers on the left pop up to pepper the Lord of Battles, but one is kncked down by a snap shot from the surviving Land Raider. ?Their fire is accurate however and destroys the LoBs head cannon. ?Tzeench Disk Riders pop up in turn and cut down two of the Wych stands. ?
 Wyches hold the building against the horde.
The left Shadow Raider continues first turn form and misses with the Shadow Cannon but destroys the Death Dealer with its secondary weapons. ?Magnus the Red vapourises a second Banshee Raider. ?Ravagers chop up some Chaos troops but again miss the important shot on the Khorn greater deamon. The Raiders show them how to do it and strip two Chaos Reward cards for unsaved hits on the Lord of Battles.
Meanwhile in the centre, the Raider detachment removes all the Reavers shields but miss the Trolls. ?Ravagers then manage to blow off the Reavers Volcano cannon, and damage the leg, but it does not snap. ?The Shadow Raider rises into the air to deliver the coup de grace on the Chaos titan, and misses all 3 shots. ?
Close combat goes very sour for the Dark Eldar despite their combat drugs, and 8 Bikes and 1 Warrior stand die for only one Juggernaut.
Advance fire is fairly anti-climactic, with both the Reaver and right Shadow Spinner being totally off-target. ?The Ravens kill 2 Berserker stands and the left Shadow Spinner manages to go along way to redeeming itself by destroying the remaining Land Raider, a Tower of Skulls and 2 Chaos marines.

Turn 3:
Initiative = Chaos
The Dark Eldar on the right gamble (getting late and clearly still destined to go to 4 turns unless something dramatic happens), loading up their Raiders and trying to snatch an objective from under the Chaos Marine Veterans' noses. The Marines however destroy one of the loaded Raiders with snap fire, and both Warriors fail the bail out. The Trolls crash into the Dark Eldar lines, and the Ravens scream in beside the Lord of Battles which has engaged a Raider. Rhinos again try and snatch an objective this time deep in Dark Eldar territory.
The engaged centre Raider detachment strip the Reaver of shields, drop a Troll and kill one of the offending Rhinos. Both Shadow Raiders engage the damaged, unshielded Reaver titan, and both miss. An absolute hail of fire is directed against the Chaos Titan, but despite firther leg damage it remains bloody but unbowed at the end of the game.
 Bl00dy Reaver will not go down!!!!
The engaged Raider manages to punch through the lord of Battles armour but again his patron smiles upon his work, and the might Chaos construct smashes the Raider with its chain fist. The Jugger vs Wych engagement ends in a 1-1 tie, a much nicer result than last turns' thumping, though the Trolls run amok.
The Ravens pepper the Lord of Battles in advance drawing another card. There is other desultory fire, but the Chaos Veterans on the right flank win the day by using their Telekenetic powers to teleport the Raider that was about to capture the objective into a building.
