Post subject:  Feral Orks, Chaos Squats
Just wondering if was worthwhile building lists for the Ferals, seeing they're an official GW release.

I figure you'd structure them like standard Orks but with a much lower tech base.  Four obvious clan choices:

- Wildboyz - take as the existing Company card.  Give them access to Shamen (Wierdboys).
- Hunters - the shooty FOs.  Same basic stats as Deathskulls maybe (looted Imperial guns), access to Squigg catapults, Hop-Splat equivalents.
- PigDocs - Clan card of all boarboys and Nobs on Boars.  Support cards of Squiggoths, Special of MegaSquiggoths.
- Boilerboyz - Clan mounted in junka trukks.  Cannons for support, Steam Gargant as special.

Special Clans:
- Dragun boyz - Clan all mounted on Wyverns :)
- Steam Freaks - Mad Max esk orks in suped-up, steam powed junka buggies.

Chaos Squats:
Seeing NetEpic has made a pretty good fist of ressurecting all the old GW concepts, I thought maybe the Chaos Squats need a standalone list :)

Sort of a combo of Epic squats and WHFB/MoW Chaos Dwarves.....a fairly squat-like list, with big guns, a bit of sorcery, and lots of slaves.  Chaos twisted variants of the Cyclops, a grand battery consisting of Cannons of Khorne and Goliaths, a CI sized praetorian called a Ziggurat, companies of Exo-Armour, and lots of HobGoblins.  Maybe the odd Deamon Prince for chaos flavour.

I'm all for chaos squats. IIRC, the old fluff stated that the Khorne demon engines were a product of the chaos squats, so they would fit in nicely also.

I'll think about it, but I don't have much fluff on Chaos Squats. If someone could provide me with info on them, I might have a crack at it.

I've already got a decent set of scratch notes and some of the fluff.  I might do a rough list up over the hols and post it for comment.  

Should be fun doing some Chaos Squat Exo armour conversions  :p

All my C/Squats are with my CSM ... They work well together ! :D ?E/W Khazari would work as C/Squats, Too ! ?:)

I thought I'd make the E/W Khazari mercenary bands of C/Squats who'd asked for a bit of extra height as their fee from their Deamon lord patron....have to be Tzeentch worshippers I guess :)

I've been looking for a way to use my masses of C-Squats. ?Up till now, I had just planned to use them for an LATD army. ?Slaves as Mutants, Robots as Zombies, C-Squats as Cultists and of course lots of daemon engines.

If a Netepic list gets done, it might inspire someone to do an E:A list!

If any one wants to make lists ofr either of these, we'll get them into the books. NOt their own book, mind you, but an independent section within the appropriate book.

There's nothing much "official". Chaos Squats are either Squats who have turned traitor or those whose homeworlds were sucked into the warp during age of strife.

They work as engineers for Chaos armies but there are also Chaos Squat pirates roaming around the galaxy.

Needless to say they are about as popular with regular Squats as fallen with Dark Angels.
