Ok, seeing the PSI-titan bitz in the GWUS site has prompted a question: do any of you know how the warp cannon was supposed to work?
Does it fire some kind of psychic blast like the Eldar psycannon, some kind of shield-ignoring beam like the Ork dethray, or what?

There never were any statistics for the piece. It was mentioned once (given clues that it would be an upcoming development) in the AT-1 Codex Titanicus supplement and then we never heard from it again. There is fluff for it in the AT-1 rulebook, but no rules for its' use.

Hi!
Hmm...I gather there is more than one question here?
The Psi-titan head, or "custodian head" was for a psychic titan that was never released. In net epic it gives the titan the ability of the Librarians "mind blast" spell.
The "warp cannon" from Eldar titans, aka D-cannon has undergone several mutations over the different versions of epic. Netepic uses a version closer to its AT cousin since its more powerful than later versions.
Could you tell me what bit you are refering too?

Primarch,
I think that he's refering to:
-------------------------------------------------
The infamous PSI-titan pieces that were made around the AT-1 era and were intended to be added to the plastic Mk.I Warlord titan frame: (One of each of the five peices is needed plus a plastic Epic plastic Mk.1 Warlord frame to make a complete PSI-titan)
PSI-1 Archive Epic Psi-Titan Head
PSI-2 Archive Epic Psi-Titan Right Weapon Gantry
PSI-3 Archive Epic Psi-Titan Left Weapon Gantry
PSI-4 Archive Epic Psi-Titan Weapon Platform
PSI-5 Archive Epic Psi-Titan Warp Cannon
-------------------------------------------
The PSI-Titan head and custodian head are two different things as far as I know. The custodian head was released and the PSI-titan head was never released.
Shalom, Maksim-Smelchak.

Hi!
AH! Gotcha. Man thats a blast from the past. I dont think anyone has made rules for these. Netepic included.
Might be fun to make up some. Sounds like a fun thing to convert.

Has anyone seen it put together? I may be tempted to get it since, well, I already have everything else!!
I was surprised by the exodite stuff too, and wonder how nice those would look next to the Eldar Knights. Oh well, I can probably do without those, since there are no rules for them and all. There is just something about Titans though.
BTW: AT was followed up by SM
SM was followed up by TL.
Epic40k died and I never heard if there was anything down the pipes to follow. . . It would have been cool to see what they would have followed that up with if it was more successful, although I have to admit it was a complete game.

My thoughts exactly; I just wanted to know whether there is anything more than the obscure hint at the Divisio Telepathica in the AT rulebook.
IMO it should work somewhat like the old Vortex missile but have smaller area of effect, perhaps only the size of the Gutbuster ball template. A short range (50cm), ignore cover and mandatory scatter (like Warp Hunter). Unlike the Vortex, the effect would collapse on itself and not stay on board.

I have all the Exodites (working on them now), all the Psi-Titan parts, plus those Eldar X-vehicles as we talked about before. They are all very good pieces, and if you have the cash, they are well worth it, IMO. Rules ?! - "We don't need no stinking rules!" After 12 years of "Epicing", what G/W doesn't do, We make up !

Legion! Can you post a pic of the Psi-Titan assembled? Does it go to the plastic Warlord? I am very interesed in getting the pieces, but I don't want to find out after I get them that they belong to the Warlord MkII or MkIII.

You might want to read my post since I've specified which Warlord the pieces belong to:

PSI-5 Archive Epic Psi-Titan Warp Cannon

Hi!
Yeah, exodites are pretty cool. I picked up a ton of them and they go very well with eldar knights.
I saw an assembled psi-titan some time ago, but dont have a picture of it. I hope someone posts it when they are done.
I might pick up some Eldar X-vehicles, mainly to use as dark eldar, since they look different enough to be distinguished from regular eldar.
Legion4 whats the code on those X-vehicles?

What up m#th@f#ck@s!
I just got a reply from Jervis about the Psi-Titan:
>I have seen the bitz for the Psi-Titan on the GW US site and are > interested in getting them, but there are only about 5 pieces or so and I > don't know what to do with them. ?I have heard they were add-ons to the > plastic Warlord, and if that is the case, consider them bought. ?I know > there weren't any rules published for them, but which edition were they > made for? ?Can you shed some light? ?Many of us are very curious about > this in the forums. >
Gosh, I have to admit that I really can't remember much about the Imperial psi-Titan, other than we planned to do one around aabout the time that the Walock Titan was released for the Eldar. I would guess that the metal bits must be conversions for the plastic Warlord, but I don't know for sure. It was all long, long ago in a Studio far far away...

Well, I guess this was made for SM/TL rather than the old AT/SM days, even if it were mentioned in AT. ?Kind of like the Emperor class being mentioned in AT, but no mini. ?See ya.
