Hi all,

Just thought it would be a useful first post, I have written a fair amount of fluff, it is mainly on the EPICentre but there is other bits too. Just a thought, would people like to see fluff in the new NetEPIC codex's or would they rather have them kept to basic description and stats to save paper on print outs? By fluff I mean short stories and descriptions.

Fluff is good, i suppose really fluff gets people into the game, who wants to read a dry rulebook, but add fluff and the game seems more alive.

must admit thats what got me into tyranids years back, though i feel that no rules yet have done the tyranids justice, i could never get my head around the fact that tyranids would break or fail morale as such, even if their hive mind link was broken. Tyranids exist to kill and devour, fight to the last hormagaunt, not sit and brood, its probably the easiest army to use, tactically well you do not need tactics!

chomp n slash, cant hear the hive mind anymore? no matter i know carry on chomping, as i said the easiest army to have, yet restricted to much

Agreed, I prefer the Koralon from VOID as a Tyranid like race... makes more sense to me, just need to add a hive mind to them and you are sorted.

But you are right about the Tyranids losing there connection to the hive mind, they should just follow there instincts. (See the Netepic Tyranid book for examples), they tend to just charge generally if they have no-one to tell them what to do.

I guess we ought to see about adding some fluff to our army lists then, does anyone object to this?
