The Mega-Squiggoth rules state that every time the Mega-Squiggoth suffers a wound it must pass a morale check or immediately go on a rampage in a random direction, moving its maximum charge of 30cm and engaging the first unit it encounters in Close Combat.

The one thing that seems odd about this is that, when killed, the normal Squiggoths go on a 2D6cm rampage before dying - but any infantry it runs over are hit on a 4+ with a 0 TSM.

Probably slightly inspired by the "Oliphants" in Lord of the Rings, I would have thought the Mega-Squiggoth would have been more capable of crushing infantry while on a rampage and I was wondering if there wasn't any kind of typo with the Mega-Squiggoth description? I assume not, but I thought it was an odd decision to allow the smaller one to do so (albeit when it is dying) and not have its larger and potentially more destructive partner to do likewise.

I would almost certainly house-rule this, and like you say come up with a more destructive rampage reaction for the Mega version :)
