I'm wondering if I'm missing a rule somewhere. When constructing the lists we get 5 support cards per company card. So, if I take a company of Chaos Marines I get a champion and 3 detachments of 5 stands each for a total of 16 stands in the company. If I wanted them to have rhino transport, I'd have to use 3 of my 5 support cards just to get them wheels which really doesn't leave much for anything else. Seems really odd. ![]() James R. Coplin |

Hi! It is. It is one of the unfortunate hold overs from the original GW rules. I just let opponents take transports for them for the extra cost and no support card usage. Primarch |

Oh I love that rule! I think I'll try it because I have the same issue with my battlewagon free Ork clans. The Goffs have to have 3 detachments of battlewagons to get them all into hand to hand fast. I've bent the rules twice now by giving them a detachment of 3 skullhammas to save some slots. I added 50 pts to help cover any game advantage. The Skullhammas triple move really got them in super fast, but they both ended up being really close games. I'll need to play more to see if it's actually over powered. Stormpuppy |

I stick with the rules as they were originally written on this. It's one of the downsides of playing Chaos, but there are plenty of upsides too. If you want to mechanise your Chaos Space Marines, it is, therefore, going to cost you support cards, but it can be worth it, especially to get them into the heart of battle to cause damage. |

On a similar note; If you opt to have your Chaos terminators teleport instead of take land raiders - do you need to apply this to the whole company or can you pick and choose detachments? Cheers, |

Good question. Since the rules do not specify either way, I would say that whatever you and your opponent can agree on is fine. |

Cheers, Hi! I've always done it by detachment. You could teleport one, thunderhawk another and land raider the third one. Primarch |
