Hi all,

Getting back into the game and looking around at all the various options for Epic. The detail level of NetEpic is appealing to me, but I haven't settled on a rules set yet.

That said, I couldn't tell if there is a definitive base size for NetEpic, or if any basing - classic square, strip, circular, etc will work for the rules set?

Thanks.

Hi!

It doesn't matter what basing you use.

Use which ever you prefer and even mix and match if you'd like.

I personally favor the square bases (don't like the strips), but that is just personal taste.

I also prefer the square bases. I ended up using the rectangular bases for some infantry as a result of an abandoned experiment with playing EA, and I don't like them at all. The rules allow you to use square bases, rectangular bases, and a mixture of the two, so it's whichever option you like the best :).

Hi!

One thing I have done recently is to continue to use square bases, but 25mm (instead of the original 20mm).

I find the models have more space for creative basing ass well as not look so crowded.

It also works better for larger models like Terminators which were to "packed" on the standard 20mm base.
