Hi,

Would the Gutbuster 'Ball shot' count as 'artillery' (uses a burst template and deviates) and thus be able to damage buildings? Same question applies to the 'Explosive shot' and Magnum Mega Cannon 'Banger'. Also as the ripper fist is designed as an anti titan weapon why doesn't it damage buildings as well?

Thanks

Gutbuster "ball-round" shot is destroy buildings (TSM -4), this was confirmed by Primarch few monthes ago IIRC.

The Magnum Mega Cannon 'Banger' is not damage or destroy building, I checked in the old book Space Marines Battles.

Others weapons that could destroy buildings in SMV2/TL were:
- Chainfist (Slasha/Great/Meka): destroy building (TSM 0 against building)
- Snapper: destroy building (TSM -4 but this is stated in the NE Gold Rules)
- Buzz Saw Arm (Meka): destroy building (TSM 0 against building)

But I don't know if the changes in NE Gold were deliberate or not.

Hi!

Scream is correct on all counts. The mega cannon is more an armor piercer, not a anti-fortification weapon. Most if not all titan close combat titan weapons destroy buildings.

The gutbuster ball round is the king of the building busters though.... ;)
