We are thinking of keeping a campaign roster as part of our Netepic campaign. I've read through the stuff at the back of the original Titanicus book, but has anyone run one?
I'm interested in gaining experience for crews of Titans/Praetorians and possibly super heavies plus maybe HQ's and would be keen to hear what others have tried?

Hi Fredster,
I just finished my campaign last night - though still have several battle reports to post up so it'll be a week or two before I finish my postings on this topic.
So far as Titan experience goes, I used the Titan experience rules from what I think was the Titan Legions rulebook (I never owned it, just have a few photocopied pages). I'm sure someone here must have these - they cover experience rules for Imp. & Eldar Titans and Ork Gargants. If not, and you're interested, I can try & scan these and post them up.
When I was designing my campaign system I had considered creating rules for vehicle experience but because very few vehicles survive battles, it didn't seem worthwhile.
With campaigns you end up having a lot of paperwork, so it's probably a good thing that you don't have to track xp for anything more than titans.

Titan legions have them and I use them in mine for campaign. Just have to remember when titans get XP to write it down. And yes plenty of paperwork if you do it for more types of units, alternativly maybe do it for the armies by having a commander that gives the army or a unit in the army a bonus. I.e. Every level gets a +1 caf for a det assigned before battle, or +1 shots. Roll on a random table to see what they get.
