Post subject: | Ork Army List Question |
I'm a bit confused with how the Ork army lists work, with the 'normal, big or 'uge' mob formations Taking the ork warband as an example, it comes with 6 boyz units, 2 nobz units and 2 grotz units...... then it says normal is 200pts, big 350pts and 'uge 500pts Does this mean you have that amount of points to spend on upgrades/more units to determine what size of mob you have?? Do you have to add the cost of the 6 boyz, 2 nobz and 2 grotz units to the cost of the formations before taking anything else?? I'm so confused about the ork list......Help! lol Carlos |

First price gets you the listed number of orks, second price doubles them, third triples it. The price, you will notice, does not quite double then triple. It's a kind of bulk buy discount. When you have chosen the base size you get to the add whatever from the list on the right. That could well be even more boyz, Nobz and Grotz. So for your example: 6 boyz, 2 Nobz, 2 Grotz = 200 12 boyz, 4 Nobz, 4 Grotz = 350 18 boyz, 6 Nobz, 6 Grotz = 400 You have to decide when upgrading a small unit shall I just buy from the list on the right, or is it cheaper to increase the base size. Does that make sense? |
