Hi,

another debate on Epic french board: can light artillery do snap firing ?

As per the rules we have the following:
Quote:
You may not Snap Fire with template weapons or any unit classified as artillery

Does the "classified as artillery" mean any kind of artillery ? light, normal, heavy ?

If so, IG rapier, eldar bright lance or any other light artillery can not snap fire. Exception for the tarantula (as per its own rules).

We had similar problems with template weapons
but we always snap fire with small attillery(bright lance, rapier, vibro cannon e.g.)

Well, clearly Light Artillery is still Artillery. No Artillery may snap fire (exceptions may be noted in the unit rules e.g. Tarantula).
