Post subject:  necrons - which book?

So I'm putting together a necron army, and I was wondering - which book are people using? Which will become "official" Netepic rules?

I know of 2 books floating around out there:

The Stephane rules:

Or the 5.2 Slann Rules (which oddly have necrons thrown in):

In either case, our group will probably continue to use the Stephane rules, but thats just in our group - if we play with any other locals, likely the "official" book will be the one used, so I'm curious.

Thanks.

Well the list I recieved to be changed to the Gold format is the Slann/Necron book. i like Stephanes list though as it also has a lot more interesting and up to date units in it. But if that one turns out to be official I'm gonna get a bit grumpy as the Slann/Necron book is 3/4 finished at this stange :p :D ;)

Thanks. Well I got tired of paying for the domain name when I didn't really use the main site or email. It just seemed a bit silly when you could host the pictures elsewhere for free. But alas: Finding the time to redo the site has been a bit of a challenge :p

I suppose we could do a quick poll: I can probably copy/paste a lot of the existing stuff from the Slann/necron book without too much work at this stange, but the decision definitely has to be made now as the only thing missing is really those annoying time consuming hit templates and unit statistics tables.

well, you know my vote - perhaps you should start a topic with an official poll to get more exposure for it.

The version of the Necrons in the 5.2 Slann list are the ones that were developed by the group and have been playtested. They are the official list.
