Hello,
maybe the thunderhawk transport capacity should be raised a bit, maybe 7 stands/thunderhawk:
I find a little disturbing seeing the commander in his rhino on the ground while his company is in the air.

What do you think?

I'dd say 6+1*:

"+1*" means a special transport place that could only be used by a special stand like a captain, a chaplain...

or perhaps just saying 1 Detachment + Commander instead?

Anyhow I like the idea that the commander can ride in 1 of the Thunderhawks for "free"!

Maybe: with the 6+1 or 7 troop stand, you can send a company with commander and chaplain/medic (or even a company with 3 chaplains :D ) so it's quite powerful.
But there should be always the room for their own commander.

I agree with this
He is just sitting on the bridge ;D

I have thought about the thunderhawk too
since the latest models is 5 times bigger than the 1st edition one

If you need the whole company to drop together there's always the Drop Pod option....

actually this is another sign of "the big size problem" the netepic community is suffering under right look for the gorgon threat for another example of this we need a wary big and general fix for this (maybe a new line of vehicles) or some other fix i have not figured out yet.

WRONG GAME, DISREGARD- apologies.

Isn't the character an upgrade for a stand? Surely they fit in regardless.

I find it more disturbing that a strike cruiser can't fit a full marine company if they bring any dreadnoughts.

okay i may have been a little vaigh in my description of the underlying problem take a old thunder brig and one of the new FW t-birds or one of the old SM1 gorgons and one of the new o-man proxies and tell you self this are the same units. there is a big problem here we really need to tackle or add least think about

I got what you meant, the lovely true scale models done by members here and FW are very large next to the old models. I was responding to the OP. Didn't realise the first part of the thread was old, or what game this was refering to doh!

Yes, for E:A, but NetEpic is being discussed on this thread.

I have thought only about the T-hawk
but you are right
there is a "problem" with a lot of models
but since the Thawks design has changed dramatically
I was thinking about using the old(brick) as scout T-hawk(old rules)
and the newer desings as heavy T-hawk(SH, save+3 , capacity 6+1)

I do like the old brick design
and so I still want to see it in action ;D

The Brick and the TL version were clearly TOO small. The E40K version is probably about right for 6 stands. I'd just use a FW Thunderbrick as a Drop Ship.
