Greetings! I am returning to the game after a long spell of absence (haven't painted or played since gamesday '95!) and after a quick search found myself here. SM/Titan Legions was the only game I properly got into, so I was overjoyed to find that it is still being played and has been improved. Good work guys! When the core of my space marine army arrives, I will once again wield my paintbrush (pictures may follow, if I can still achieve a half decent standard), but I'm looking for a chance to pick up the dice and tapemeasure. Is there anybody in the Oxfordshire area who would be up for a game or two? Any help would be much appreciated! BTW, what happened to the Warlord Titan? The one on the GW website wouldn't look out of place in a Transformers Film! Yuk |

Welcome to the boards Wiseling. I'm afraid that I'm a little bit too far from my old stomping ground to give you a game but I'm sure there is someone around who can. |

Welcome Wiseling, Is there anybody in the Oxfordshire area who would be up for a game or two? No sorry, but any time your near Glasgow feel free to drop in. It's always good to hail the return of a fellow NetEpic player. BTW, what happened to the Warlord Titan? The one on the GW website wouldn't look out of place in a Transformers Film! Yuk I agree, but wait until you see what some of the guys around here can do to them to make them look cool. There is lots of inspiration in the Epic 6mm section. |

Hi Don't know about Oxford - but I'm up for a game in Gloucester. Sorry - don't have my own transport & use a walking stick so I can't carry too many models. On positive note - have large (12,000pts) armies each of Imp Gds, Marines or Eldar. (And still have most of my Space Marine company cards, etc). Also am a fan of Battletech/Battleforce 2, if that's any use. Again with large armies. Cheers Paul H |

A big welcome back to the fray! You are most definitely not alone in your taste for SM2/titan legions flavoured destruction. I am in the same boat- the later epic versions inspired me about as much as a trip to Tescos, so thank goodness for NetEpic! Since returning to the fold three months back I've found a new opponent and am enjoying epic once again to the full. The other good bit is I now paint to a much better standard- more patience as you get older I reckon. Anyhow, afraid I'm a bit out of range (Devon), but keep the faith- I found other players by accessing the database of players, on this site somewhere I think (?). Otherwise, perhaps on occasion Net Epic fans ought to consider some bigger meet ups and games? WOuldn't be feasible every week, but I'm sure there are loads of SM2/titan legions fans out there- just look at the popularity of the stuff on E-Bay! |

Games can be arranged in Milton Keynes if your that side of Oxfordshire. Generally only play Epic A these days though. |

Oh, and another piece of advice for free Wiseling- don't get hoodwinked into playing EA or any other edition that isn't your first choice! There are still plenty of gamers out there- you just have to find them. Otherwise we'd all just tow the line and wait for games workshop to chuck our next old favourite in the bin (oops, I'm not allowed to say that am I? ![]() Viva la net epic! |
