Do you remember the old titans mission cards, which gave you objectives for titans & titans battlegroups? Things like "blitzkrieg", where you have to get your titans in the opponent's table part etc. Maybe this can be put in the optionnal rules, tweaked and with some news (there was only "imperial" & "Orks", it's missing chaos & eldars, tyranids don't really needs a mission ![]() |

tyranids don't really needs a mission not i could easily se a nid mission called the big kill(kill the largest think the opponent have and get the VP and then the largest then afterwards and get VP etc. etc.) and a "the great devouring" (kill the largest troop formation with a nid titan and get VP for it) |

Hi! Some of the original missions were to easy to accomplish... or impossible. I agree an in between ground needs to be sought. I have to pull them out and look them over, it may be later this week though. Primarch |

Hi! Here are the missions with my modifications. Once duz.holger gets his out will "meld" them into a final form. Imperial Titan Mission 1. Capture. Originally it was too easy, since the building was in the titan mission holders half of the table and if the building was destroyed the titan mission holder got more VP's. Modified: Select an objective (can be building or any other nice terrain feature that looks like a cool objective) in your OPPONENTS half of the table. REACHING the objective (no small task) earns 10 VP's for the mission holder. Each turn the titan survives holding the objective the mission holder earn 5 more VP's. 2. Delaying Action. Quite possibly the most lopsided mission. Since for merely the titan surviving you got free VP's. Too easy. Modified: When drawn the titan mission holder will start the battle on an objective in the OPPONENTS HALF of the table. This will be selected after deployment and all orders have been placed (to make it difficult for the opponent to preemptively place his forces for an easy kill). The mission holder will receive 5 VP's PER TURN he can hold on to the objective.. until relieved.... (no mean task!) 3. Take and Hold. Most balanced of missions. Leave as is. Randomly determine an objective (using d6), the titan earns 15 VP's per turn it holds the objective. 4. Blitzkrieg. A little too easy for warhounds, almost impossible for warlords. Modified: Thus VP's will be awarded by titan CLASS. Mission holder titans that make it to the opponents deployment zone (the amount of cm's from the table edge inwards where the army was initially placed). 10 VP's for a warhound. 15 VP's for a reaver. 20 VP's for a warhound. These are awarded from reaching that objective (at the moment of completion). They gain an additional 10VP's per turn they remain in the enemies deployment zone. Engage and destroy. Normally you get double VP's for destroying certain targets. Which is kinda silly since thats what the game is about, so why get MORE for that? Modified:The mission holder will select ONE target in order of priority; titan-praetorians-super heavies and will earn DOUBLE VP's for THAT target. All others yield normal VP. Once the selected target is destroyed another, according to priority can be selected. Titans armed with close combat weapons and drawing this mission receive TRIPLE the VP's for destroying the selected target. Thoughts? Primarch |

Hi! Ork Gargant Missions The ork missions are similar to the Imperial ones, so I will list the modified ones: 1. Trash Dat Shak! One building in the OPPONENTS half of the table is selected and the mission holder needs to come into base to base contact with it to destroy it and receive a one time bonus of 20VP! 2. Stomp an' smash: Same as engage and destroy, under the imperial missions 3. Stompfest: As blitzkreig, but the values are different (gargants are slower). Mekboy gargant 15 VP's Slasha Gargant 20 VP's Great Gargant 25 VP's Mega-gargant 30 VP's Lets face it if ANY gargant can make it to your deployment zone, you should lose.... ![]() 4. Grabbit!: As capture 5. Trash da burg: For every building in the OPPONENTS half of the table destroyed by being into base to base contact (not shooting it) earns 5 VP. If not buildings are used other terrain maybe destroyed in similar manner for the same VP yield. Primarch Primarch |
