imperial robot: Robot; 10 cm; 4+; +2; Lascannon; 75 cm; 1; 5+; -1 Inorganic, Robotic squat robot: Robot; 10 cm; 5+; +2; Lascannon; 75 cm; 1; 5+; 0 Inorganic, Quickdraw, Robotic is this a typing error or have the squat robots a worse armour and lascannon? and why i can not find the ability quickdraw in the imperial statistics but in the belonging description to the robot? but i can find it in the squat-robot unit statistics!? |

Well, there were multiple classes of Robots.....maybe we should change the Squat ones weapon to an Autocannon ![]() Seriously, there are some oddities. ?The Marine and IG lists both use the same stats but marines pay 150 for 4 with a break of 2, while IG pay 100 for 4 with a break of 4. ?Squats do get 5 Robots for 100, though theirs are not as nice stat wise. ?I think the difference between the 2 types could stay, but we should probably make the IG pay the same as Marines for their upgunned version, and make the Marine version break 4. |

I'm okay with that. Make the change and inform WMN. Primarch |

No, 150 for 4 robots and a break of 4 for both Marines and IG. 100 for 5 weaker robots for Squats, break of 5. |

Robots have what is usually a minor limitation (given their ability to Snap Fire at any target with no penalty) and some seriously useful abilities....I think 100 points is too cheap for those stats even for 4 of them. |

Which Dreadnaught are you comparing to? ? Scatolo Heavy is closest - same speed, same armour, lower CAF, -2 TSM, not Inorganic, Robotic or Quickdraw. Deredeo - faster, worse armour, same weapon, not Inorganic, Robotic or Quickdraw. Scatolo heavy is 150 for 4, Deredeo is 100 for 4. ?I can think of heaps of times I'd take Robots over Dreadnaughts.....the Quickdraw makes them very strong. If you go back to the original rules (Space Marine, Armies of the Imperium, Ork and Squat Warlords) the stats for the Squat robots are the correct ones for all armies. Another option would be to make all Robots use those stats and drop the Marine ones cost to 100 points (and break 4). |

0 CAF on the Furibundus too. Remember, the Marines do ok out of the first proposal (break 4) and making IG robots more expensive is hardly going to affect them drastically. I don't think I've ever taken robots with IG....it's not like they need the firepower ![]() |
