Hi all,

I'm trying to build a stats for the Siegfried tanks in NetEpic. I checked in E:A what was the cost and the stats, they seems close to Chimeras so here are the 2 profils I suggest:

Profil #1
Siegfried tanks detachment:
- move: 20cm
- save: 3+
- CAF: +1
- weapon: Multi-Laser
- range: 25cm
- attack dice: 1
- to hit: 4+
- TSM: 0
- special: turret, dozer blade, side armor as front armor, tow(1)
- break point: 2
- Moral: 4
- VP: 1
- cost: 100

Siegfried tank company:
- 3 Siegfried tank detachments + 1 command Siegfried tank
- BP: 5
- Moral: 4
- VP: 3
- cost: 300

Profil #2 (changes are in bold)
Siegfried tank detachment:

- BP: 2
- Moral: 4

Siegfried tank company:
- 3 Siegfried tank detachments + 1 command Siegfried tank
- BP: 5
- Moral: 4
- VP: 2
- cost: 200

Personaly, I prefer profil #1.

I don't know if Siegfried should be only taken by PDF or not...

Please reply and let me know what do you think about these profils. I'll try to build Ragnarok profils for Netepic soon ;)

They look very reasonable to me.

I don't have a preference regarding either profile. Either one would be fine.

I think the second one would probably be closer to the mark.  I don't think a company card of them is appropriate.  Do you give them Tow(1) as well?

Thanks Zap and Primarch for you replies.

I have added the tow(1) ability, you're right Zap and it does not increase the unit cost ;)

I'm OK to go with profil#2. Why do you think it's not appropriate to create a company for for them ? Is it because having a company of 10 tiny cheap tanks could make them a "must have" for any IG player ? I still not have played my IG army in NetEpic so I can not test them and give you feedback about the profil.

The trouble with making a company, is the extra command unit.  as an obvious support unit, it's not appropriate for it to lead other units into battle.  It's important they don't get too many commanders, otherwise chain of command becomes too easy to maintain.

More appropriate that they are used as support cards, usually attached to a light artillery company.

Definitely profile 2 for me.  Will be nice to have a proper tow unit, and a rare dozer.  Makes me want to go get some  :)

Yeah I agree with Loofnick's analysis, but largely I just don't see that you would have a company of them.  I don't think it would be game breaking for IG in the new structure, but another super-cheap company would be an issue for PDF.
