IG Recon Vehicle

I see the Recon Vehicle in the list of vehicles for the Adeptus Millitaris, but I cannot see them on any of the cards (company, special or supprt...). Anyone know where they're used? And is there any reason why the salamander isn't used as a recon vehicle - that's kinda their role. The Imperial Armour version of a Salamander is a Fast Vehicle.

That's a PDF detachment....I don't think the other Imperial lists get access to them. I also think they were created before the Forgeworld Salamander existed. It would be perfect to use though. Note it should also have Transport 1.
