do you remember our discussions due to the deathstrike?

i suggested that the deathstrike should only be able to fire one missle per detachment / per turn.

now i found somthing interessting in the pulsa rokkit description:"...Pulsa Rokkits can only be fired when the detachment is on First Fire orders and only one rokkit per detachment may be fired per turn..."

so my suggestion was not so unusual at all, right?

concepts?

come on

28 looks no answers...

28 guys here with no opinion to this?

just to understand my objectivity:

naxt game i take a detachment deathstrikes ... 1 warp + 2 barrage missle are going on the fly first turn and will reach their targets at least second turn...maybe i take 3 detachments...9 missles on the fly first turn... 3 warp + 6 barrage missle (max to 42 template !!!!).

under the actual rules it is near to impossible to destroy the missles. you need a lot of fire power!

Hi!

The effect of the pulsa rocket is so much better than the deathstrike that it had to be limited to one shot per turn. If you thought deathstrikes were powerful they are nothing compared to this wepons which remains on the board and has the change of expanding exploding and destroying everything under one big template.

The difference is HUGE.

i do not agree...comparision firing at a warlord titan...

pulsa rokkit:
range 50 m+ what else...not easy to hit the titan.maybe firing at his self. if range ok, scatter dice. if ht, titan gets 6 hitswih tsm -2..ll shieds gone, thats it...oh, i forgot to say that 6 times -2 tsm only if you throw a 6 before...

deathstrike: (warp)
hit automatically, if in range at least second turn. no scatter. bypass shields. 2 times aiming...never the less good change to hit anything. no armor save. 2d6 in sum on the table will leads to a 6..buuuummm and the titan is gone...

the pulsa rokkit is so much better?????

ok, the danger of the dathstrike would be reduced, if you have the chance to give your warlord a kind of "psy head" (look other topic)

Hi!

Depending on you roll on the table it may only affect infantry or eve titans. Of course that would require high die rolls. Sometimes you get lucky and sometimes not.
