what do you think about a new knight variant:

KNIGHT VISTA

The Knight Vista is armed with the Battlecannon from the Paladin and the Lascannon from the Crusader.

a time ago i bought some knights at ebay and i was wondering why i have not found this knights in the imperial hardware book...so they are a in-house production. now i have them, well painted...but not listed...

What role is it meant to fill? I'm fine with the Knights that already exist. Which Knight are you referring to that you bought off ebay?

i bought the knight like i described. it is the standard knight body, left hand the crusader twin lascannon and right hand the paladin batlecannon. im going to make a picture and place here tomorrow.

i was wondering about it too, but then i thought...hmm...why not? maybe the previous owner played this variant in game.

i like this variant and of course the name...vista...sounds to arnie... :D

As long as the figurine doesn't exists, I'm quite opposed adding this unit to the official NetEPIC ones.
Of course you can use your profile with your figurine, but imagine the mess if I start gluing scorpion cannon to eldar knight, Doomdiver magna cannon on Stompas, and so on.

i do not want to force bringing him into the game but it is a nice variant.

but hey, the knight vista (i do not like the name anymore! please suggestions for a better name! :D ) is armed with normal knight weapons and not a volcano or 2 quake cannons...i think it is just a normal variant of knight type. advantage are the attack dice and disadvantage the less CC

this knight variant could go in competition with the eldar fire knight class...

Why can't you play it with your buddies like that? Seems okay to me. Since you are apparently the only owner of a Knight Vista in the world, no need to push it to "official" status.

He's nice....scary mid-range firepower on that variant...I'd make his armour 2+ though seeing he has the Crusader chassis.  One with 2 sets of the double lascannon would be cool as an AA variant....hmmm.
