Thanks for the pics, Enderel. I presume you had AMTL. How many points did you play? Looks like you went with mostly Knights. That must have been interesting. Was it difficult playing on the floor?

Hi DS, yes I was playing TL's, thought I'd dust down my knights and have a game with them.
Think it was only around 3000pts or so, just enough for a lancer household a leman russ co and some supporting units.
They surprised me in a number of ways, the shields were extremely important, especially advancing on vindicators at one point! In CC they did well but they are extremely vulnerable for their points costs. Managed to get the Baron isolated and blown up because I was to over confident with him..
We always play on the floor! Getting harder in my old age to get back up again though..
L4 - Damn good idea! Would have been much easier..

Yeah, after a full Epic battle on the floor I think I'd have a pretty hard time getting up again. Nice pics....love to read a full report on how the Knight based army played/faired. Didn't seem to be a lot of infantry about.

Almost the worst battle report possible i think but a nice show of terrain. I'd strongly recommend a table. Mine has screw-in legs so I can put it away. I feel far more fresh when playing games on a table- keeps the blood circulating better.
Are the further off building on the 1st pic home made? looks like they're made of platicard?
