Allright here's my first attempt at some stat lines for the new units. I'm basing the Grey Knights on the Netepic Grey Knight Terminators (which will remain the same). Inquisitor Lord and GK Grand Master are based on the current Inquisitor stats. Vultures and Valkyries are a mix of various skimmer and flyer stats to create a more or less balanced feel... Stormtroopers are based on the regular Guard Infantry but still different from the Assault troopers.
Here we go:
Unit name. Speed. Armour. CAF. Weapons. Range. Attack Dice. To Hit roll. Save Modifier. Notes.
Ordo Malleus Inquisitor Lord: 10cm, 4+ fixed, +6, Various weapons, 35 cm, 2, 4+, -2 Notes: Psychic save 4+, Imp. units within 25 cm automatically passes Morale tests. Imp. units within 10 cm gains +1 CAF
Grey Knights Grand Master: 10 cm, 4+ fixed, +6, Various weapons, 35 cm, 2 4+, -2 Notes: as Inquisitor Lord without the +1 CAF. Instead the Grand Master is allowed to use the same psychic powers as the standard SM Librarian.
( I know these two characters are extremely powerfull but they needed something to differentiate them from the regular Inquisitor (who is allready extremely powerfull BTW)
Grey Knight Terminators: As regular Netepic GK Terminators.
Grey Knights: 10 cm, 6+ (not fixed as oppposed to Terminators. This represents the GK's skills at dodging enemy fire and making the best use of cover), +6, Various weapons, 35 cm, 1, 4+, -1 Notes: Psychic save 4+.
Grey Knight Purgators: 10 cm, 6+, +4, Various heavy weapons, 50 cm, 2, 3+, -2 Notes: Psychic save 4+
Grey Knight Dreadnought: 10, 5+, +5, PsyCannon 50cm, 1, 3+, -2 (weapon does not affect Robots with the exception of Eldar Dreadnoughts, Wraithguard, Chaos Androids and Dreads who are possesed by Daemons) Notes: Psychic save 4+
The Grey Knights keep the high CAF of the Terminators but have less armour. I think this reflects the increased fighting skills of the GKs -remember regular Veteran marines have a CAF of 4+! The Dreadnought is much better than the standard Marine Dread but they come in small formations of only two units which shoud be pretty easy to kill. To differntiate them from the Purgators I was thinking of making the formation unbreakable so that they'd never check morale and havve to be wiped out in order to be stopped.
Generally speaking the Grey Knights are extremely powerfull. This is why I think the formations should be relatively small and severe restrictions to their numbers implemented.
Valkyre: 35 cm, 5+, +1, Multilaser, 25cm, 1, 4+,-1 Bolters, 15 cm, 1, 6+, 0 Rockets, 50cm, 2BP, -1 Notes: Skimmer, Transport (2)
Vulture: 35 cm, 5+, +1 Autocannon, 75 cm, 2, 4+, -1 Bolters, 15cm, 1, 6+, 0 Hellstrike Missile, 100cm, 3+, -3 One shot Notes: Skimmer
Storm Troopers: 10, none, +2, Hellguns, 25, 2, 5+, -1
The ranges on the skimmers probably need to be adjusted; also I'm not sure they need so many weapons but they're based on the E:A stats. The Storm Troopers are a mix between the IG Assault and Heavy Troops. They're good at assaulting but not as good as Space Marines. At the same time they carry some pretty heavy weaponry such as plasma guns which should give them more firepower than regular IG.
Anyway sincle this is just the first draft there's bound to be a bunch of things wrong so shoot away guys
Cheers!
