Maybe the Carrion could be Undead Condors?

1) My issue is that it does too many things.  Units/bits that are too versatile are a) potentially unbalancing and/or b) hard to cost.  I would think the whole unit as originally written would need to be a lot more expensive.  Some of it also doesn't make logical sense (and yes, I know it is a sci-fi game  :vD ).  Fast, terror causing, skimmer but inescapeable, immunity from damage granting units does not fit my pre-conception of bats.  I'd like to see it much simplified.

2) Carrion as a unit would be cool.  I think they'd have movement more akin to a Harridan though, not a Thunderbolt.

3) Maybe the Carrion could be Undead Condors?

1) You're right, I'll try to suggest something better

2) You're right

3) Fine name ;)

Thanks Zap for your help :)

No, thank you.  I've already got my Undead Condors primed and ready to paint   .  Just need to work out what to use for a Bone Spitter now!

I didn't do any Batreps for my HoE battles.  I look forward to writing one with some flyers included, and to reading yours.  I particularly look forward to the pictures of yours!

I'll finish painting the titan this week-end. For the Bone splitter, maybe and old SM/TL Manticore/Basilisks chassis could be interesting, glue 4/6 skulls looking the sky with a barrel in the mouth and you'll have a nice undead AA vehicle :)

Yup....some potential candidates there!

I'll probably use the old style Ork Battlewagon as the basis again.....I have about 400 of them and they already have a nice skull face molded on.  The skull with gun barrel sticking out of the mouth sounds spot on!

Those Mk.1 plastic Ork B/W's certainly lend themselves to be chassis for the machines of the Dark Gods ...  :ghost:
