With Bans already having joined our ranks and showing interest in a collaboration between our projects I thought it might be fitting to also make a thread for it here.
The Anargo Sector Project is something we have been working on for several years now. Its a project which originally started on the now deceased Portent forum in which we tried to create an Imperial Sector in full detail to show GW (well sort of) that a bunch of fans can create something great and interesting. It basicly is a somewhat alternate interpretation of the 40k background in a way that we try to let it make sense to a certain degree and add a whole new level of detail to it.
We've been trying to cover the background of the worlds present in the Anargo Sector, but also things like trade, wars, politics, spacial phenomena and many other things are being covered. However it did not end with just hte background of these things, we quickly were in a need for artists to give image to the written material. And what would 40k (or its specialist games) be without modelling and gaming?
The gaming part is where the idea of a collaboration between our projects came, while Netepic is mainly focussed on creating a new interpretation of the Epic game by especially looking back at the older (and somewhat forgotten) editions. This looking back at the older editions is something we do too in our creating of the background, mixing the background from the past with the present.
Now Bans has taken it upon himself to help us out with some armylists and rules for the forces and campaigns present in our sector, I thought we could perhaps help you people out with the background aspect.
