Forgive me if something like this is already present somewhere (too lazy to look it up ), but do we have learning scenarios for NetEpic a la E:A?
One of the best things about the newest Epic edition is the scenarios, IMO. They provide an easy opportunity to get new people into the hobby. You can start with very small preselected forces, gradually increasing the difficulty of the game by using more and more unit types. Also, one of the biggest advantages (pre-selected forces) keeps being valid no matter how experienced the players are. This is pivotal when you are in the position of providing miniatures for both sides, and the other player simply cannot select his forces due to lack of minis/rules.
So... if I want to drag someone into the abyss teach someone to play NetEpic, do I get any luck?

You can kind of do the same thing with NetEpic. Play some games with just a few detachments, like 2 LR detachmants for each player or say a battle company of marines. Victory conditions can be very simple, such as capturing and holding a specific objective or you win when you have completely eliminating your opponent's forces. Once you get comfortable with the basic rules, then you can make things more complex by adding things like psychic abilities and Titans.
Hope this helps!

Hi!
That is a good point Magnus. It has been mentioned many times. I think I will move this up my "things to do list", since most other main projects have been taken care of.
Any suggestions for scenarios?

Yup. First scenarios should be "learning" scenarios. You can get a very good idea by reading the ones in the E:A rulebook. They should also be easier to come up with, since the first ones are supposed to be very small and besides, there's an "escalating engagement" structure where each following scenario just adds a few troops to the previous one.
After that, I'd follow a "classic battle" feeling - SM vs Chaos Marines, Squats vs Orks, Eldar vs Slaanesh - this would provide a very good feeling for all the "obvious" animosities in the Epic universe. Finally you can get fancy - siege, search & destroy, combined arms, multi-armies battles and the like.
By getting the lists right, I think lots of fun can be had with scenarios - no more broken degenerate armies, for one; and since you design the lists, you can do it so as to underline key tactical concepts.
